1966 Death Cert

Florence's father Harry Bramhall, my G-Grandfather, was born in 1887 in Sheffield. One of at least three boys by Thomas Bramhall.

The 1891 census shows them living at  2house ct 14 South Street, Sheffield.

In 1901, Harry was a Spring Knife Grinder by trade and was living at 17ct 11 Thomas Street, Sheffield.

Around December 1906 he married Clara Walker and they had four children, Clara (1908), Florence (1912), Jenny (1914),  and Michael.

On 13 April 1918, Harry was killed in action at the Battle of Messines (2nd Phase of Battle of Lys) in Ypres, Belgium. He is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial in Ypres, Belgium.

Widow Clara Bramhall later married Herbert Broadhurst (b.1890)and produced four more children, Dorothy, Rose, Irene and Harold.

Herbert died in the Sheffield Royal Hospital on January 24, 1958.

My G-G-Grandfather Thomas Bram(h)all was born in 1864 in Sheffield.

On the 1901 census, (Engineers Spanner Fitter) Thomas was living with Housekeeper Agnes Wetherill and  her 10 year old  daughter Agnes and his three sons, Harry (1887), Thomas William (September 1898) and Frank (1900). Thomas is stated as being married not widowed so where is the wife?
